There is something very incredible happening at Mud Mountain Damn near Buckley, Washington. A $112 million contract to build the largest trap and haul passage facility in the nation was awarded by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Kiewit Infrastructure West Company won the bid and will be utilizing Kundel Industries trench boxes. This is a project to move endangered species of fish around Mud Mountain Dam. It is Kiewit’s ability to quickly design and construct a working facility that won them the contract. The Corps wishes to move quickly and minimize risk to these endangered species. Recently, a large increase has been noticed the White River Chinook Run. The current facility that was built in 1941 was created to move 20k fish per day. The new facility will do much, much more than that. Kundel Industries is proud to have their trench boxes chosen for such a project to help endangered species.Suggested Readinghttps://www.djc.com/news/co/12109297.html https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinook_salmon
